Last week, Film St. Louis met with the founders of a new TV station launching on Charter – GOTV Network. Their inaugural markets will be St. Louis and Los Angeles, with plans to expand into broadcast stations.
The idea behind GOTV is to showcase as much local programming as possible, so they will be looking for content, and have asked Film St. Louis to help introduce them to projects.
This Thursday, they are having their Launch Party, and WE are invited!
This Thursday, June 16 is the VIP reception for the launch of GOTV and they would like to have filmmakers and actors in attendance.
The event will take place in in their office building downtown St. Louis.
The whole event goes until 8, but from 5pm – 6pm is the ‘let’s have the filmmakers schmooze with the (potential) sponsors’ portion of the evening. After 6pm, the rapper Chingy is showing up and it becomes a rockin’ hip hop party.
