Hoping to add to the creative spirit that’s made Warner Brothers a leader in digital media and earned it two dozen patentsover time, the entertainment industry behemoth is offering up studio space, mentorship and industry insight to promising young tech startups innovating in entertainment.
Warner Bros. partnered up with Turner Broadcasting‘s Media Camp accelerator to bring the San Francisco-based program to Los Angeles. An application period began today for the three-month spring class. Turner, meanwhile, will still host its program in San Francisco this summer. Media Camp makes $20,000 investments in each of its startups, leaves open the opportunity for commercial agreements throughout the program, and introduces the companies to investors at a Demo Day.
